What is English Convos?
English Convos is a non-profit organization founded and led by high schoolers who are highly interested in and passionate about helping and educating newly settled immigrants; those who have the intention to migrate to the U.S., yet aren’t confident in English; or those who are willing to learn more advanced English and get introduced to the cultures and the most recent trends of the U.S.
What Does English Convos Do?
Through ONLINE MEETINGS–using Google Meet or Zoom–we reach out to and connect with the ones who need our help–NO LIMITS ON AGE–to become successful in developing their language and writingskills! Moreover, for the ones who are new to the U.S. cultures, we introduce them to all the cultures and trends in the U.S.–including the usage of slang and shortened words such as “n” as a word “and” and “gr8” as a word “great”--for them to blend into the community without any sufferings of discrimination!

Our team consists of dedicated instructors and mentors who are passionate about helping students achieve their language goals and succeed in English-speaking environments. Our focus is not only on language skills but also on cultural adaptation, ensuring a holistic learning experience for our participants.
Get to Know Us
Exceedingly passionate about supporting and reaching out to the ones in need in our community, we have found English Convos to approach and connect with the ones who need our help: those who are miserable in how to improve their short and limited English skills; those who are being isolated, bullied, or discriminated for struggling in adaptation in a new country and community; those who are struggling in understanding the U.S. cultures and trends; those who are struggling in writing professionally with better usage of words and grammars for their essays, documents, resumes, etc; those who are craving to learn English and the U.S. culture better from a far-away foreign country; those who wants an English tutor but cannot afford…and more! As most of us have encountered and experienced these problems, we, as fellow high schoolers, have bonded over these commonalities and made our strongresolution: to terminate these complications that newly settled immigrants, or those who want to migrate to the U.S.--yet does not know how to speak English well, encounter.
